  1. So i have a Kraken 7.1 headset and a Nokia Lumia 930 phone and i would like to combine the two.
I was wondering if a USB(Female) to Jack3.5 would work? Sync-and-Charge-3-5mm-male-audio-to-USB-2-0-Type-A-female-converter-Cable.jpg <----a cable like this
    Thanks in advance! Noca

Are talking about making calls or music only?

After a short research... don`t think so. The thing is that AUX and USB are two totaly diffrent technologies. Aux is analog and USB is digital. In setup like this the analog signal from 3.5 jack has to be converted to digital in the USB plug. I went through some topics on forums, checked some product reviews like the one you posted and on each one of them people who was looking for answer you are looking for they found out the answer is no. And even though i couldn`t find anything about pluging USB headset to a Cellphone i`m 99% sure same rules apply.

I have your same problem and pretty much reached the same conclusion. I wanted to hook up the Razer Kraken Chroma to my phone. Even if there was a way to convert USB to 3.5mm jack the headset needs a ton more energy to work and would probably drain your phone's battery pretty quickly or even damage it.
You can probably connect the headset directly to your phone with an OTG cable instead of converting but I don't know if the phone will recognize it and it will still drain a lot of your phone's battery.

@TigerStripedDragon i don`t think that phone would recognize Kraken plugged in with OTG cable as audio output, it wasn`t designed for that.

@terrortime Yeah probably not. Still, it would have been a fun interesting experiment. I've plugged a few USB devices to my phone with OTG just to see what'll work. I've never tried a USB headset before though.

Even if something like that exist ther would be a power problem. Or not?
